Prof. Dr. Gediz Murat Serin
Dr. Gediz Murat Serin is a highly esteemed Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialist with over twenty years of experience in Otolaryngology. He graduated from Istanbul University, Istanbul Medical Faculty, in 2000 and completed his ENT residency at Marmara University in 2006.
Dr. Serin’s unwavering pursuit of excellence is reflected in his distinguished training background, which includes prestigious observerships at Harvard University’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (MEEI) for facial plastic surgery and the University of Pittsburgh for sleep disorders. He also gained specialized expertise in skull base surgery at Insumria University in Italy.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Serin has played a pivotal role in shaping medical education. He was instrumental in establishing the Otolaryngology programs at Acibadem University and served as a coordinator during the university's formative years. His academic achievements culminated in his promotion to Associate Professor in 2013 and Professor in 2018, showcasing his dedication to advancing the field.
Dr. Serin is an active member of several professional societies, including the Turkish ENT Society, Turkish Rhinology Society, Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Society, and the European Rhinology Society. He has held key leadership positions such as Secretary of the Istanbul ENT Society and Scientific Program Assistant Secretary for the 2017 European ENT Congress in Barcelona.
